Under Makeup Cream & Skin Type. Which One’s Best for You?

Moisturising, soothing, mattifying? To hide pigmentation spots, hydrate dry face skin or soothe acne breakouts? No matter which cream you go for, you must think how it’s going to work with your makeup products. Check the best cream for your skin type!

Under-makeup cream for oily & combination skin

If you’re bothered by the unhealthy T-zone shine, blackheads and hyper-pigmentation – choose a weightless cream as a makeup base. Still, oily and combination skin needs hydration to control the sebum secretion. You may as well pick a mattifying cream. Just remember that matte-finish creams and foundations don’t always go with each other.

Under-makeup cream for discolored skin

Spots, discoloration, moles, scars. You must camouflage and protect such imperfections with the right product. Choose a cream that focuses on masking pigmentation spots and protecting against the sunlight. Applying SPF 50 cream is the safest solution. Keep in mind that adding smaller factors in different skin or makeup products won’t give you a high protection.

Under-makeup cream for dry & sensitive skin

If you have a dry and sensitive skin, you must provide it with the right protection from external factors e.g. free radicals, environmental pollution, UV radiation. Such a cream must be rich in soothing, hydrating, nourishing and protecting ingredients. You must apply it whenever your face needs an instant care.

Under-makeup cream for problematic skin

The cosmetic, intended for this skin type, should be high in nourishing, repairing and hydrating ingredients. It must go with the needs of your skin. Problematic skin looks exactly opposite to the healthy skin type. It’s the most difficult to care for.
