What’s best to use on hair to provide it with the optimal hydration, dazzling shine and remarkable softness?
If Ariel – the little mermaid with lovely red hair – were a beauty blogger, I’m sure she would recommend Nanoil Algae Hair Mask. She would because the secret of the mask’s splendid effect is marine algae rich in valuable minerals! I’ve decided to go to the fairy-tale world for a moment and try to nurture my hair just like the little mermaid would do.
Today, I’d like to share the results of this marine hair care in a brief review of the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask. What does the mask hold?
You can find the answer to this and other questions below. Keep reading! 🙂
Nanoil mask with marine algae – my first impressions
The Nanoil hair masks (there are five of them including the algae mask) stand out among other products when you just glance over them. They come in nicer jars which don’t put you off with the bright colors. It’s not the colors that should be bright and visible, it’s the effect. And I share this way of thinking with Nanoil.
Obviously, the consistency matters as well. So, the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask is very light and does not overburden the tresses. It’s never made my hair heavy or limp-looking. Instead, it makes the tresses look smoother and less frizzy and surely not weighed-down. I believe it’s a great asset of the mask.
What ingredients does the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask contain and what it’s supposed to do?
We can see another good side of the mask when taking a closer look at the formula. There are three ingredients that play the key role: marine algae, panthenol and glycerin – thanks to the trio, the hair is silky, resilient and revitalized after the first application.
Of course, the mask holds more components but I won’t list all substances that give the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask the consistency or the wonderful aroma. See www.nanoil.co.uk for the full list of ingredients.
However, merely providing the names of ingredients doesn’t give you much information and I’m 100% sure you are interested in the effect the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask has on hair. Before sharing my opinion, take a look at the mask’s benefits listed on the official site.
Nanoil Algae Hair Mask:
- improves the levels of hydration in hair.
- adds shine and resilience.
- strengthens the follicles and repairs the hair.

Nanoil Algae Hair Mask: my impressions after 4 weeks
What effect does the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask have on my hair? I’ve been using it for a month so I guess I’m ready to tell you this and that about the results. The results that are really… surprising!
To be honest, I didn’t expect to get such good product for this price. I know what I’m saying because I’ve had many pricier masks that gave worse effects. The thing I’ve already mentioned matters the most – the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask works since the first application and makes the hair better with next uses.
Today my hair is beautiful, strong and perfectly moisturized. It looks like it’s been given a new life – the tresses are no longer dull and lifeless. I achieved that thanks to the Nanoil mask (with a bit of help from the natural oils from the same brand).
Another good piece of news – the use of the Nanoil Algae Hair Mask isn’t difficult. Actually you just need to follow two steps:
- Apply a portion of the mask to damp hair lengths.
- Rinse as usual after approx. 20-30 minutes.
Very little effort is needed to have lovely hair thanks to Nanoil. This isn’t the first product from Nanoil that I use and swear by. I once used their oils and now the algae mask is my favorite.
Let me know what you make of this mask!
