Radiant look? My ways to get rid of dark circles under eyes

I don’t like the feeling my swollen eye skin area gives me. I also don’t feel comfortable with these hard-to-camouflage dark circles and all the signs a fatigued complexion displays. I try to hide the imperfections of my skin by hook or by crook. Luckily enough, I have a few well-tried methods to remove swellings from the face. I’m more than happy to share them with you 😉

My ways to fight dark circles under eyes

  • Good diet is a must
There is no point in fooling yourself, and I’m not going to do it either. Under eye swelling isn’t only the aftermath of tiredness but also unbalanced diet deficient in vegetables and fruit. It’s a little bit silly of us to look unattractive just because we don’t consume products containing vitamin K and vitamin C. Being aware of this, I’ve introduced the following products into my diet: tomatoes, currants, apples, citruses, grapes and sour cabbage. I encourage you to do the same.
  • Creams with extracts
From my own experience I know that action delivered from the inside isn’t enough, although it’s very important as well. It’s better to find an ally in the battle for radiant look by applying under eye creams or gels containing the following extracts: green tea, algae, chamomile, arnica, eyebright, sage or caffeine. Hyaluronic eye patches that moisturize delicate eye skin area and brighten the dark circles can also bring the looked-for effects.
  • Be cool
My advice: keep all the under eye products in a fridge since when applied cool, they contract capillaries and reduce the visibility of dark circles under eyes. The same tick applies to slices of a cucumber or an avocado. When applied on the eye skin area and left there for a few minutes, cool slices of the vegetables gift you with a pleasant feeling of relaxation and reduces swellings.
  • Herbal compresses
Another method to reduce swellings under eyes is the use of compresses soaked with herbal infusions. Despite reducing swellings, such compresses act anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Why is it worth reaching for herbal compresses? In my opinion, the best are compresses infused with black tea, cornflower or chamomile. All you have to do is place the herbs in a boiling water and once it cools down, drown cotton pads there to soak these to apply them onto your eyelids. Basically, you can also use the teabags of brewed tea.
  • Massage this problem
As a supporter of natural methods I frequently give a go to various interesting solutions that might help me say goodbye to a particular beauty problem. When it comes to swollen eye skin area, it’s a good idea to give your skin a delicate massage while applying a cream. This procedure will stimulate blood circulation and counteract swellings. I usually make circular movements starting from the outer corner of the eye, going through the lower eyelid and reach to the outer corner to finish the massage on the upper eyelid.
